We are expanding rapidly and looking for a Senior Engineer who will drive and take ownership of various technologies to build features, enabling large-scale processing of data supporting our products. We need a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies. As a leader you will be a part of an Agile/Scrum team and mentor quad members. 

This role assumes a certain independent capability to investigate and learn new technologies for the platform, subsequently providing recommendations to various teams backed by solid understanding of the value a technology would provide. The Senior Engineer will deliver quality code and software solutions that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders, while supporting, mentoring and leading a team.


  • Make high-level design choices and contribute to setting up technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platform 
  • Review business needs, design, implement, test and perform code review for various features for the Platform.
  • Gain and maintain a deep understanding of the business and product domain to deliver effective solutions.
  • Provide transparency through daily Scrums, Kanban (or similar). 
  • Identify, raise and address system vulnerabilities and technology blockers for the squad.
  • Optimize code and streamline processes to improve performance and platform stability and reduce overall system load.
  • Respond to alerts, review error messages, and fix bugs in a timely manner.
  • Work in a distributed and agile environment
  • Schedule, plan and implement major software upgrades
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of developer productivity
  • Responsible to mentor junior talent, and ensure standards are maintained
  • Exposure to continuous integration, continuous delivery


  • South African ID or valid RSA Work Permit
  • B.Sc Computer Science or related IT qualification


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in software development, specializing in .Net technologies
  • Experience working on Enterprise Solutions
  • Experience setting up and working with metrics reporting, monitoring, alerting and profiling software
  • Experience in continuous delivery and devops with Azure Devops

Tech Stack:

  • MS .Net Core C#, ASP.Net, Web API, VB.Net
  • RESTful API with ASP.Net Core 3
  • Web: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ReactJs/VueJs)
  • MS Azure
